What is the South Texas Borderlands Collection?

The South Texas Borderlands Collection is a bibliography of books related to the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas to preserve the history and culture of the  region. This enterprise has its humble beginnings in the field of Library Science with final projects from Collection Development and Grant Writing classes at Texas Woman's University.  This work could not be done without the Library Science Faculty at TWU, the Rio Grande City Public Library, the Texas Book Festival, and the countless authors, historians, and poets who have loved the Rio Grande Valley.  - Nicole Darcy
